In 2006 I retired from the NYS Department of Education and relocated to Columbus OH. I lived on Long Island, NY for a lifetime, where I had a career in education as a classroom teacher, school administrator, and a college professor at Stony Brook University. My doctoral work rested upon the topic of mediated learning and it’s “Effect” on students with a history of PTSD and the teachers practice.

I am a member of Sanctuary Columbus Church, in Ohio where I serve as a certified Spiritual Director. I feel called to this position because of my desire to support and mentor those who feel challenged on their individual spiritual journey to become more like Christ. I also run a Retreat Center in Southern OH, where I provide spiritual direction, and teachings surrounding Spiritual Formation Practices.
